My name is Rosa I. Diaz. I'm an administrative assistant from Chicago. I was embarrassed by my weight all my life. I even went through depression. I felt out of control all of the time. Now, though, I've lost 110 lbs. with Positive Changes. I've gone down 7 dress sizes, and it feels great! It took me two years to lose the weight, but I've already kept it off about a year. I just missed so much in life. When I was younger I'd go to school and see all my friends with their boyfriends. I didn't experience any of that because of my weight. As I got older, I saw myself and I wasn't happy. It was the worst feeling in the world to think I couldn't actually get to where I wanted to be. I had no control over my eating habits. I didn't pay attention or focus on what I was eating, and I'd eat all the time. I was skeptical at first, but the information and the short hypnosis session took away my skepticism.

After my first session, I immediately noticed I was drinking water and staying away from sweets. I was beginning to control what I was eating. After a month I started noticing the weight just coming off. My weight loss was challenging for a while, but, once I changed my habits, it was a breeze. Without Positive Changes, there's no way I would have overcome my chocolate cravings, my binges or other bad eating habits. Hypnosis helped me eliminate all those things. My weight loss wasn't too fast. I wanted to lose it all right away but, of course, I didn't. I lost my weight over a two-year period and I'm glad it took the time it did, because I know I now have control of it. I just don't see myself going back to where I was. I definitely enjoy good foods now. I enjoy eating my vegetables and preparing my meals the way I do. I don't eat any fried foods whatsoever. I watch what I eat, make sure I have plenty of water and make sure I exercise at least 3-4 times a week. Because of the hypnosis, it's easy to stay motivated to exercise. I look forward to it every morning when I wake up. It's my daily routine; the first thing I do. Without hypnosis, I don't think I ever would have done this. I went to my doctor 10 months after I started at Positive Changes. He was in shock. I told him what I was doing and he said, 'Wow'¦that's really good. He was very happy for me. When people are looking at me I feel good because I know I look good. I know I can walk down the street and not be judged for how much I weigh. I feel really good when people who haven't seen me for a long time say, Wow, you look great! My family and friends all say, 'Awesome! You look good.

Hypnosis has affected everything. I feel physically comfortable. I dress a lot nicer and I can wear things I always wanted to wear but couldn't. I even bought an entirely new wardrobe. It was fun! Most importantly, though, I've regained my self-esteem, my confidence in me. I'm very proud of my accomplishments. I wake up in the morning and feel great about myself. I've already overcome the biggest obstacle of my life, so I know there's no future obstacle I will not overcome. I make better use of my time now and my leisure time is more enjoyable. If they want to spend the day at the park, we spend the day at the park. If they want to go running or bike riding, we go running or bike riding.
