Hello, my name is Peter Alexander. I'm a business owner and a married father of two from Danville, California. Thanks to Positive Changes Hypnosis, I lost 25 pounds in 4 short months. I used to wear a size 40. Now I'm a trim 35. But most importantly, the pounds are finally staying off.
Before Positive Changes, I had been overweight for 21 long years. I had tried all the usual diet routines. Weight Watchers worked for a short time, but then the weight came right back after I didn't track my "points" value. With Atkins I lost about 20 pounds in 2 months, but the food variety was terrible so I didn't stick to it. All that weight was back in less than 2 weeks. I also tried an appetite suppressant that didn't work at all - no wonder it was pulled off the shelves. I had given up on ever losing weight and keeping it off. When I was diagnosed with diabetes, my doctors told me I needed to lose weight. But as a diabetic, you rely on insulin – which makes you hungry all the time. Needless to say, this offered an additional challenge with my weight, and I wasn't getting anywhere but heavier on my own.

At my initial evaluation, I didn't feel like I was being sold to, which was great. The staff was personable and supportive. They really know their clients! Each visit felt like I was walking inside the bar from that show "Cheers" and everybody knew my name. I felt welcome and valued.
I remember walking out after my first hypnosis session already feeling better. Hypnosis reduced my stress level significantly in just one session. I was calm and at peace. I had truly enjoyed taking that time for myself.
I noticed changes in my behavior right away. I started drinking more water, which has been a huge benefit. I've found that when I'm well hydrated I'm much less likely to eat the junk food I used to want. With two kids in the house, the pantry is full of prepackaged cookies, snacks and candy bars that I couldn't resist in the past. I find it much easier to say no to these foods now. Before I knew it, I had lost 10 pounds. I didn't feel like I was depriving myself, which made it easy to keep going.
Looking back, I can't believe how much my eating habits were out of control. Dining out was the worst. Because, what's going out to dinner without some rich dessert after a full meal? But no more! If there is dessert on the table, I might try a spoonful, but I don't have to have it. And I don't feel like I'm missing out.
On Halloween I used to dig through the candy my kids brought home after going trick-or-treating and eat as much of it as my kids did. This year I had two bite size candy bars and that was it. I'm back in control.
In addition to the lost weight, I've noticed other significant health improvements. When I started my program, I had a bad case of knee tendonitis. I'm experiencing a lot less pain in my knees now. Hypnosis also helps me sleep better at night. I no longer take sleeping aids. Last but not least, I'm taking less insulin for my diabetes! When I saw my endocrinologist six months ago, just before starting my program with Positive Changes, my A1C was 6.8. It is now down to 5. 7, which is a huge improvement! My doctor couldn't believe it. He said my blood levels and all other tests look fantastic. He told me to keep doing what I was doing, because it was working.
