My name is Emily Blanck and I live in Moraga, California. I' m a fundraiser and lobbyist. I lost 22 pounds and dropped 2 dress sizes in 3 easy months. I even lost weight during the holiday season, and I'm now easily maintaining my slim new weight. I'm convinced that my weight loss is permanent. Once you've read my story, you'll understand why. It's hard to admit now, but I once had no control over my appetite. If I started on anything with chocolate, I'd eat it all. When I got home from work, I'd eat right up to midnight when I went to bed. I always overate because I no longer could tell when I was full. One time I was making cookies to send to my daughter at camp but ended up eating the entire batch. Now that's out of control!
I lost and regained the same 20 pounds over and over my entire life. I tried Weight Watchers twice, but as soon as I stopped, the weight came back. I tried a crazy Fat Flush diet where I drank 64 ounces of cranberry juice a day and ate almost nothing. No foods could be raw, so I was cooking 3 meals a day. Who has that kind of time? Again, I gained the weight right back.

Within the first week of joining Positive Changes, I noticed differences in my behavior and responses to food. I was floored! I kept telling my husband, 'Wow, I don't want to eat!' Now I know what full feels like and automatically stop eating.
I have allergies, so I can't eat a lot of the holiday foods other people enjoy. Every year my boss buys me special potato chips that are safe for me. I would eat and eat on those chips and gain more weight. They used to be my favorite but now, since hypnosis, I don't want them. While everyone else is snacking all day, I drink water and feel satisfied.

I also no longer beat myself up about food choices . I used to condemn myself if I ate something unhealthy and then eat more because I felt bad about myself. I' ve overcome that habit and all that energy is now used in healthy endeavors. I sleep better and I'm a happier, more relaxed person.
