My name is Louise Pryor and I live in Caldwell, ID. I own a business that provides services to people who have mental challenges. I've been overweight for the last 15 years. I have tried losing weight with other methods in the past. I've tried Weight Watchers, LA Weight loss, prescription pills and anything new on the market.
I heard about Positive Changes on the TV. I enrolled because my husband encouraged me to do it. It took me about a month to finally decide to join. My consultation was very good. They were very polite and there was no pressure to join. They just explained how the program worked.
To date I have lost 60 pounds and it only took 7 months to lose this weight. I used to wear a size 3X and now I wear a size 10/12. I've lost a total of 50 inches all over my body. The first month I was able to lose 10 pounds, 4 of those in just the first week.
I was not in control of my eating habits before coming to Positive Changes Hypnosis. I ate all night after my evening meal. I was always upset. I cried a lot and I hated everything that was in my closet. I had health issues. I was taking blood pressure medication, metformine and my cholesterol was high. I never exercised. I tried to join the gyms but I never would go.
After I joined Positive Changes, I immediately started noticing changes in my behavior and seeing results. My eating habits changed. I now eat smaller portions and I use a salad plate instead of a dinner plate. I eat a lot of vegetables. I drink water with my meals and I don't snack in between meals. I just eat 3 meals a day. I now know hunger whereas before I just ate everything. Hypnosis eliminated the cravings, food binges and poor eating habits that I had before.
Before coming to Positive Changes, I would go to the office and sit in a chair for 8 hours, go home and fix dinner, and then watch TV. I just wasn't active. Everything has changed now that I've gone through the Positive Changes program. Food is no longer the first thing I think about. Now I get up and listen to my hypnosis session, start drinking water, go for a walk and then mid-day go for another walk. I got my staff at the office involved in walking exercises. I also walk in the evening and mid-way through the program I added a little jogging. I also took a belly dancing class.
I would say that now I eat less and enjoy it more. The program at Positive Changes made it easy to lose the weight. I just followed the program that they gave me and listened to the hypnosis sessions at least twice a day during the week and 3 times a day on the weekends. The biggest behavior changes that I have experienced is that I'm eating smaller portions, I don't snack, I added walking to my daily routine and I stopped eating chewy soft candy during high stress times. The program has helped me stay motivated.
I used to have problems sleeping and now I don't. I also used to snack all day and I no longer snack. My food portions were over the top and now I eat smaller, controlled portions. I used to have an addiction to sugar but not so much now. I used to think about food all the time but not anymore. I was always tired and I lacked the energy to do anything but now I want to get up and move around. I'm doing fun stuff.
I'm going to be healthy going into retirement and I don't have to worry about what the doctor is going to say because I've already lost the weight and am exercising. Now I'm going to have a great retirement and you can't ask for anything better than that.
The most valuable benefit that I have received from Positive Changes is a change in me accepting my body, accepting that I can do this and that I'm worth it. It was simple. It was the easiest thing I've ever done in my life. Today I know for a fact that I will never have a weight problem again. Thank you very much for Positive Changes. I love Positive Changes.
