Karen Mladonicky from East Liberty, Ohio![]() ![]() My name is Karen Mladonicky. I live in East Liberty, Ohio. I am an evaluator at Positive Changes Hypnosis. Not only am I an employee of Positive Changes, but I'm also a former client. I completed my program at Positive Changes 1½ years ago. During my program I lost an amazing 45 pounds and I went down 5 clothing sizes. I had been overweight for 12 years before trying Positive Changes. I lost my weight with this program in 4½ months. It was awesome. Before losing weight I had lost my confidence. I really had a lot of pain and didn't feel well most of the time. I lost energy. I was highly stressed and I knew I had to make a change. I had a lot of ailments and no one could figure out the cause. I had very poor eating habits. I started the day out with a Coke and would follow that up with chocolate and sweets. I would consume 5, 6 or more Cokes throughout the day, chased by fast food for lunch. My eating habits were out of control. I heard about Positive Changes through a radio advertisement. My first impression was that the office was very professional. I knew that I was speaking with professionals who knew what they were doing and I was right. My 45 pound weight loss is proof of that. Since losing weight with Positive Changes Hypnosis all those negative emotions and feelings have evaporated. I have more confidence. I am less stressed. I am relaxed and able to deal with things. I'm in virtually no pain from my arthritis and I have seen many health improvements. My eating habits have improved greatly. I no longer have any desire for Coke or soda of any kind. I drink water because it's what I want to drink. I start out the morning with a healthy breakfast. For the rest of the day I eat healthy foods such as salad, and lean proteins. I don't miss the old food that I used to eat. I don't even think about the junk food I used to consume. I also don't miss the fat that came from that food. And the best part is I have been able to easily and effortlessly keep my weight off for the past year and a half. I have to admit, I was very skeptical when I first came to Positive Changes. It was a nice office, but I never believed a program could work for me as well as this one did. My skepticism went away after my very first personal session. It was so easy to lose the weight. I didn't even think about it. I knew I wanted to lose weight and I expected I'd have to make some changes. I increased my exercise but really that was because after my first session I found I had so much more energy and a real desire to exercise. I did things that were fun and that I wanted to do and the weight came right off. Since completing my program I am just so much more active. I get out more. I enjoy boating and swimming now. This past summer I went on a zip line tour. That's something I never would have done when I was overweight, because I would have been too embarrassed. I do a lot more hiking and just having fun and not having to think about what other people might be thinking when they see me. I'm not self conscious at all anymore. I have visited my doctor since losing weight. My doctor's first words were "Congratulations" when she saw me. She said I was much healthier and happier. I feel great about myself now. The most important benefit I've received from my program at Positive Changes is I feel like the old Karen again, just enjoying life and feeling good while doing it. It all goes together. If there wasn't the weight loss I wouldn't be there, but the increased self esteem and energy all ties together. My family life has improved because I'm a more positive person. I have more energy and I'm able to get out and participate in things with my family more. I'm just more relaxed in general. I am so satisfied with my results. I give Positive Changes a great deal of credit for my weight loss. I had tried to lose weight for 12 years on my own. I know I did what I needed to do to take the weight off but without the help from Positive Changes, what I was doing wasn't working so they get the credit for that. I would recommend anyone who wants a change in their life, who is looking to make any change--whether it be anxiety or weight or smoking--that they give Positive Changes a call and check out the programs available.
